Job Title: Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor
Reports to: Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated hands-on Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness, hygiene and organization of all Kitchen and stewarding areas.
The role ensures smooth back-of-house operations and supports the culinary team in maintaining the highest sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the stewarding team to ensure all kitchens, utensils and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards.
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling and cleaning schedules effectively.
  • Monitor use of cleaning materials and chemicals, ensuring proper stock levels and handling.
  • Support kitchen operations by ensuring equipment are available and in good condition.
  • Train and motivate stewarding staff for efficiency and teamwork

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in kitchen stewarding, with atleast 1 year in a supervisory role in a 4-star hotel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment handling and hygiene standards.
  • Reliable, proactive and team-oriented.
