Job Title: Pastry Cook
 Reports to: Chef de Partie
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Cook to join our Kitchen team.
 The ideal candidate will prepare a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goodies that meet the hotel's high standards of quality, presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads and other baked items as per recipes and hotel standards.
 - Decorate and present pastries and desserts with creativity and precision.
 - Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of ingridients and finished products.
 - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section.
 - Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
 - Uphold food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
 
Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate or Diploma in Pastry, Bakery or Culinary Arts.
 - Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Cook in a 4-star hotel or reputable bakery.
 - Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
 - Attention to detail, creativity and passion for presentation.
 - Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
