Job Title: Pastry Cook
Reports to: Chef de Partie

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Cook to join our Kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will prepare a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goodies that meet the hotel's high standards of quality, presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads and other baked items as per recipes and hotel standards.
  • Decorate and present pastries and desserts with creativity and precision.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of ingridients and finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Uphold food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in Pastry, Bakery or Culinary Arts.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Cook in a 4-star hotel or reputable bakery.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
  • Attention to detail, creativity and passion for presentation.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
