Reports to: Chef de Partie
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join out Kitchen brigade.
The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards, maintain cleanliness and support smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidlines.
- Ensure food quality, taste and portion control meet hotel standards.
- Maintain hygeine and safety in all food presentation areas.
- Assist in menu planning and daily mise en place.
- Monitor strock levels and reporting shortages to the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Food Production.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Cook in a 4-star hotel or reputable restaraunt.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with good communication and time management skills.
- Creative and passion for Food presentation are an added advantage.
